I was 28 years old. I had earned my masters degree in education and had received tenure. I had a 401K and just bought a new car. Life was all ironed out and I was by all accounts set for the next 30 plus years. Oh yeah, and I was miserable!
All the hard work and smart planning did not equal the joy I was promised. None of the mainstream routes of figuring out what was missing helped either. So, I went back to the last place I could remember feeling alive, feeling happy; nature.
On my journey back to my true nature, I was introduced to some incredible mentors – people who had either learned or maintained a connection to an ancient lineage and ways of being in this world that have served humankind for millennia.
